Hakko FA-430 Soldering Fume Extractor Kit
with Duct & Rectangular Nozzle
The Hakko FA-430 Soldering Fume Extractor Kit is the perfect solution for professional soldering environments where fume extraction is crucial for health and safety. Designed to capture harmful soldering fumes and gases, this compact fume extractor provides efficient air filtration while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Ideal for electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, and electronic repair, the FA-430 ensures that you can focus on your work without worrying about hazardous fumes. Kit includes filter and duct kit with rectangular nozzle.
Features & Benefits
Powerful suction
Quiet operation: Despite its high performance, the FA-430 operates quietly, ensuring it doesn't disrupt your work or cause discomfort during extended use.
Three airflow adjustment modes: High, Medium, Low
Free-standing ducts
To maintain optimum filtering efficiency, special filter replacement indicators on the front panel notify you when it's time to replace the filters.
Quiet operation and powerful suction
The Hakko FA-430 fume extraction unit is designed expressly for use at soldering stations, extracting the contaminated air directly at the source.Contaminated air is captured from the workplace surrounding the soldering station by the hood or hoods, and transferred to the FA-430 unit by rigid ducts, and a special replacement filter notification function notifies the operator when the filter needs to be replaced.
Exhaust noise has been reduced without sacrificing suction performance by the addition of a silencer unit to the exhaust outlet to ensure smooth air outflow. A high-performance motor with 1500 Pa of static pressure provides powerful suction and quiet operation.
Airflow adjustment
Three airflow modes are available: high, medium, and low. Significantly improve your working environment by using an airflow volume that suits the worksite and the job:
Low mode
Not easily affected by the surrounding environment. For use in small, quiet locations and for when low noise is a priority.
Airflow with single duct: 92 CFM.
Medium mode
For normal usage.
Airflow with single duct: 109 CFM.
High mode
For use in locations that are significantly affected by the surrounding environment and when suction performance is a priority.
Airflow with single duct: 145 CFM.
A note on “surrounding environment”: smoke flows in unexpected directions due to a variety of factors, not just because of the influence of air conditioning. High mode is recommended if your worksite is situated near a doorway, in a spot where people continuously pass by, near the exhaust outlet of a large machine, or in a similar location. It is possible to use low mode in laboratories and other places where these kinds of influences are limited.
Sophisticated Filtration
Inside the unit, two filters, comprising three stages of filtering, remove the contaminants from the air. The purified air is then returned to the area where the FA-430 is located. The pre-filter removes coarse particles, such as dust, thus extending the life of the main filter. The main filter provides the greatest amount of surface area within the volume of the filter case. The standard filters contain an activated carbon element built into the filter. This filter is designed to last the life of the main filter.
Note: Some processes may involve the use of highly corrosive substances and are not recommended for use with the FA-430.
