Lithium ion batteries must be charged for 4 hours (with the test tool turned off) to reach a full charge and requires using Fluke's BC500 charger. When fully charged, the batteries provide 8 hours of use.

When battery power is used, the battery indicator at the top of the screen informs you about the condition of the batteries.
