9190A-E-156 Overview
The Fluke 9190A-E-156 Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well exhibits an extensive temperature range, spanning from -95 to 140 degrees Celsius, with an accuracy of plus-or-minus 0.015 degrees Celsius. This wide range allows it to accommodate the coldest and warmest temperatures needed in pharmaceutical, biomedical, and food processing applications. Unlike traditional calibration baths, the 9190A-E-156 operates at ultra-cold temperatures, which are not typically achievable with bath fluids. Its dry-block design eliminates the need for such fluids, ensuring clean rooms stay pristine and making transportation easier. Additionally, this calibrator provides rapid heating and cooling rates. It also includes insert "E" with metric miscellaneous holes for accommodating probes. However, non-process models such as the 9190A-E-156 do not have an input panel. The process option is denoted as "-P," which features 4-20 mA connectors, a reference thermometer input, and a 4-wire PRT/RTD input.
Model Comparison of Front Panels
Item | Name | Function | |

1 | Display and Control Panel | Display shows block temperature, measurements, status information, operating parameters, and softkey functions. Controls navigate the menus on the display.
2 | -P Option Panel (Input Panel) | Input panel used to connect to external sensors and probes. Panel is only available on the “-P” model.
3 | Power and Remote Interface Panel | Receptacle for the mains power cord. Connectors will transmit measurements and remotely controls the operation of the Calibrator. |
The 9190A Series: Best-in-Class Stability
The Fluke 9190A Series Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Wells are recognized as the market's most precise and steady cold temperature dry-block. They are perfectly suited for tasks requiring rigorous quality control and adherence to regulatory processes. Such tasks encompass on-site verification and calibration of RTDs, thermocouples, thermometers, and sensors that are utilized with process control apparatus like medical freezers, lab refrigerators, cold rooms, blood banks, sterilizers (autoclaves), and freeze dryers.
